Crate & Barrel Knock-Off

Decided to make my own Crate and Barrel version of these products for a wedding gift! A monogrammed cookie jar (using my Silhouette cutting machine and glass etching kit), a set of monogrammed kitchen towels, and my favorite bamboo cooking spoons.

New Table Runner

So I finally finished a little project for myself! I used the Moda Blessings Charm pack to whip up this little runner. I got some extra fabric to do the pointed edging and back. I think it adds some great color and warmth to my table! Love the fabric!

New Year.... New Projects

I don't know about you but my project list has tripled in the past week! Besides some gifts, I have several projects I want to make for myself that I'm so excited about! I'm going to be in my first "strip swap", working on a Christmas Tree quilt for next Christmas, making an adorable Spool wallhanging for my sewing room, a new table runner I've been dieing to make with my first charm pack, a Shamrock table topper for some March decorating, and not least for last, an adorable brown dress to go with some new shoes I got a few months ago! Whew! We'll see how much I actually get done on top of my "other sewing" that takes precedent. Some how my own projects never get the same attention :-) I'm excited for a new year and some new projects!
