Smocked Summer Dresses

I was at my mom's sewing this week and we had so much fun getting side tracked! We're trying to work on this massive quilt project for my grandma's birthday. It's tedious and we still have a long way to go. It's much more fun working on our squares together so we can chat while we sew. But we also decided to do another little project and make smocked sundresses! My mom learned how to do this and made one for my little girl, Jayne, and I decided I had to have one too! I love it and am going to make several more to wear the rest of the summer for both Jayne and myself. They really are an almost 1 size fits all. My sisters and brother's girlfriends were all trying the same dress on and we're all different sizes and it looked good on everyone. Kinda crazy. I think I might make a few to sell in my shop!

  1. I love the dress you made. I am sure Jayne looks just as cute in one too. I am jealous. I want one. How much are you selling them for?

  2. Thanks Jenni! The dress goes to the knee. I haven't decided on the price yet, but probably $20 plus shipping ($5).
